Located on the north-central Oregon coast, and tucked in the north side of Cascade Head, Neskowin is a pleasantly quiet beachside resort village. Started as a dairy-farming community in the late 1800's, by the 1920's Neskowin had evolved into the beach community it is today. It's wide sandy beach and shallow, meandering creek makes it a perfect place for families to enjoy the coastal environment.

Neskowin supports a number of small businesses, several of them seasonal. The Neskowin Marketplace complex has a grocery/resort essential store, realty office and vacation rental business.

Neskowin has two nine-hole golf courses, Neskowin Beach and Hawk Creek Golf Course. The Neskowin Beach course is open seasonally and Hawk Creek Golf is open year round.

A number of motel/condominium units are available for rent and many cottages are also rented weekly and monthly. Several small developments are scattered in the hills surrounding the beach, selling building lots or new homes. For more sales information call Bob Schlicting.

The Hawk Creek Gallery is the studio/gallery of artist Michael Schlicting. The gallery building was built in 1922 as the area school house and was used until 1954.
